Can we eat here? Can we bring outside food? 

Of course! You can purchase food at the refreshment stand or bring your own food to the park.

Is there a public bathroom? 

There is no bathroom in the park.

Are dogs allowed? 

Pets are not permitted in the park. Service dogs are allowed.

Is smoking allowed in the park? 

Smoking is prohibited in the park, except between the hours of 4pm and 8pm.

Can I have a photoshoot in the park? 

Commercial activities are not permitted.

Can you rent the park for private parties?

The park is not for rent. 

Does the water in the waterfall recirculate? 

Yes. There is a 50 horsepower pump than sends 1,800 gallons a minute over the falls.

What kind of trees are these? 

Honey Locusts. There are 12 inside the park and 5 on the sidewalk.

What kind of ivy grows at the park? 

English Ivy and Thorndale Ivy.

Who designed the park? 

The park was designed by Zion & Breen Associates.

Who designed the furniture? 

Finnish-American designer, Eero Saarinen, designed the tables.
Harry Bertoia, an Italian-American sculptor, designed the chairs.

What is there to see in the area? 

The Museum of Modern Art, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and St. Bartholomew’s Church.
